Our first entry

We will be blogging our journey to India. There will be highs and lows and times that we cannot even describe. As with anyone going to another country, it will be an adventure and we are not alone! He has gone before us and prepared the way, for this we are confident!

Currently we are anticipating a departure date within the next couple months. He knows the perfect timing of when we should arrive. We don't want to be there a day before, and certainly not a day after, this perfect timing. We are in the final phase of raising the money for our operating costs and we are looking forward to making the transition to living in India.

We are talking a lot with our 11 year old son about his expectations and perceptions of what it will be like when we get there. We are all going through countless ideas and thoughts about how we will adjust. We know that this is the time and season for us to go, so we pray for continued favor as we approach our departure date!

We are new to blogging, so we will keep getting better at this as time goes on. We look forward to getting to know you through this blog too!
