We received them today.
Our hearts swelled just watching them.

It's an indescribable feeling. We are not them, but they are so much a part of us. How can that be when we haven't even 'met' them yet?
It's a part of our hearts that God has so obviously crafted. He knows them, but we do not ... at least not yet!
I kinda think it's like when you have more than one child. I have heard people ask, can you really love the 2nd and 3rd child as much as the first? Most definitely! Your love isn't divided, but it is multiplied over and over.
Our love for everyone here that we know will never leave us and it continues to grow. It is so comforting to know that we have so many here to love!
The love and passion God has given us for the people in India multiplies from the love we have now.

The video has pictures of the shops and streets, the beautiful buildings and the shacks barely standing on the side of the street. The Bible School, the church, the kali god and temple, the students outside one of the universities, the Red Light district, where there is so much need and so little love. These are pictures of such diversity, the rich and the very very poor. There are just so many opposite ways of living contained within the same picture ... there is no segregation of the rich from the poor and visa versa.
Although India has come a long way in technology and jobs and commerce, the dalit's (the untouchables) are still not cared for. Our hope is for everyone. He is not a respecter of persons, or for a chosen few - for everyone.
More than 1/3 of the unreached people of the world live in India. This means those people groups that do not have a 'near neighbor' witness. No one in their community that knows how to explain about the Hope that we have. That's why we must go. That's why we are being sent.
This video shows us where we will be. It shows us, in a practical way, what we will be seeing. I wonder what God sees. I wonder how He sees us there. Where He sees us going, and where the people are right now that He has plans for us to reach. May we not miss one beat of all that He has for us to do!
