How cool it isn't ...

So as we are packing, I've realized that I don't remember the average temps in India. So I googled it and found this forecast:

Wed Aug 27

Scattered T-Storms
Scattered T-Storms

88° HIGH
80° LOW

60% HUMIDITY

Thu Aug 28

Scattered T-Storms

86° HIGH
80° LOW

60% HUMIDITY

Fri Aug 29

80° LOW

Sat Aug 30

90° HIGH
80° LOW

Now the high temps don't seem that crazy ... but then I realized it's only going to get down to 80 degrees at night! High of 86 and LOW of 80 ... not that big of a difference! In January the average low temperature is 58 degrees ... so at least there might some relief from the heat eventually.

I am not sure I am going to save space for my long sleeve shirts though ... especially since the average high hits 90 or better from April through October!

... maybe then I can take my iron!!! woo hoo! ;-)

Not much of a change of season. We will have to find some "blow-up" snowmen for Christmas! I remember seeing those for the first time when we lived in Florida.

That just cracked me up coming from a climate of for-sure snow some time during the winter. People here have them too, even though we have snow, but it still just seems very funny to me.

So now I have confirmed that it's hot. I knew that ... I knew the two seasons are 'hot' and 'hotter', but now I realize it's that way even when the sun goes down.

Do we need moonscreen? hahahahahaha!!!!!!

Are you sure you can't visit Missouri before you go? Will you guys come back at all during the 3 years? I agree w/your sister...cheez-its would be better to pack than an iron. Water too...do they have bottled water? Are you really going to India...it seems so weird to think about. We love you guys. We'll be praying for you. You'll be starting your adventure on the day I start my last year of college. Yay for us! Love you guys. Get packed...the ticker is ticking!
