Satan attacks ... !!!!!!!

How often do we go through difficult times without recognizing what's really going on?

It's amazing to me how many times things start 'clicking' and then the bottom just completely falls out! Especially when we are taking steps of obedience or doing things that we know He wants us to do. I heard someone say before, and it's so true, Satan doesn't attack couch potatoes! He doesn't 'waste' his time on those that aren't being effective or being doing something to thwart his plan. It's those that are making moves and walking by faith that he comes after!

We've had a little bit of that going on around here lately. I can't really go into the details on here about all that has happened, but the best news is that we will win. We've read the end of the Book and He will take care of us every step of the way.

I think the best thing that's happened is that we've been able to see it for what it is. The craziness, the stress, the sickness, tiredness, etc.. etc.. is us being human, but also partly Satan trying to get us down.

I also heard someone once say that if you are working for Him and doing all that He has called you to do then wake up and duck! :)

Despite all of this, I am SO THANKFUL that we can walk in peace and joy. It's hard at times ... our carnal nature tries to overwhelm us with worry or frustration, or just complete exhaustion ... but He is ALWAYS there to pick us up and help us walk the next few steps and then the next and then the next and the pretty soon we have walked through it with Him right by our side.

I don't ever want to be walking ahead of Him or behind Him, I want to be walking right in step with what He has for me/us. We can't let attacks throw us off course and stop all the good that is happening.

So I am writing all of this just to say, keep going! I am saying this to myself as much as saying to anyone reading this. I know that many of us feel this way at times, be encouraged that our Help is more than able to meet all of our needs!

Yes, you are right Aim...

We don't want to have a conversation like this with Him:

"Well, kinda well done my good and kinda faithful couch potato"

Keep pushing through you guys....Sometimes obedience is scary but correct.

You know I had to learn that lesson recently :)

luv you all...

So sorry to hear you are having some struggles. I know God is going to bring you out on the other side because he said he will never leave you or forsake you, and he will always make a way of escape for his own.

Don't give up because by his stripes you are healed physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, spiritually and intellectually.

With him you can't loose. It will be a win win situation.

Love you,

Darlene
