Ok, so it's kinda ridiculous to be upset about an oven ... but UGH!!!!!!
We just received an email from the girl who gave us the oven and she explained that the person that is taking over her flat wants the oven back ... even though they weren't promised the oven and it wasn't there (or part of the deal) when they agreed to take the flat. They just found out that there had been one there and now they want it.
It's one of those dumb complicated, political messes ... so would you just lift us up that if there is a way for us to keep it that it would happen? That we would approach the situation with the right attitudes and words to hopefully be diplomatic enough to end up keeping it? It's an oven! Precious commodity here! And I just got some yeast sent to us to make some biscuits ... I am so sad that I may not even be able to do that now. :(
I am so frustrated that I have had to spend even a minute thinking or dealing with this when there are much more important issues out there to spend my time on. We hope we can work this out easily. We will let you know.

We read of this situation at the list of your friends. This is so unfortunate,for I believe you are so deserving for an oven.
Nonetheless,we will pray for a blessing in this situation.
I'm so sad at the thought of this. Here is my prayer: Lord, I pray that you would let these people keep the oven with which you have blessed them. May they be able to cook muffins, biscuits and anything else they can think of. May they have this small thing which makes their lives so much easier and brings them hope and joy especially on days that are otherwise trying. They have been good stewards of all that you have given them, and I pray that you would reward their faithfulness by allowing them to keep this oven and not allowing them to be grieved by the possibility of having to give up this blessing. We know that your ways are not our ways, your ways are higher than our ways and you desire to bless not to curse your children, so we trust that the outcome of this situation will be your will and you will oversee the outcome so that your children will receive the blessing that you desire for them. We pray in faith knowing you hear our prayers. May we learn from you all that you desire to teach us. Thank you. Amen.
