Well, the guy that we were told wanted OUR oven, came knocking on our door today.
I am so mad!
I guess I need to be glad we were able to have one while we did. Looks like it's going to be leaving us on the 12th, because that's when they are making some kind of move.
I did have a homemade pizza in the oven when he came, so I was glad about that!!! hahahahaha! I was hoping that my really sad eyes and the good smells coming from it would make him realize how important this is to us ... but didn't seem to do much good. We offered to buy it from him, but his price is what it would cost for a new one and this one is very used ... good grief!
I really don't understand all of this, but I do know that we aren't going to compromise a relationship with people here on 'the same team' over an oven. Ok, just have to say, that I feel like they are, but whatever. I am not going to.
So I am off to bake as much as I possibly can in the next couple days ... ;-) !!!!!

I'm sorry you have to be the nice one and suck it up.
Maybe with the hot weather coming, you wouldn't have used it so very much anyways?
And by the time the weather breaks...you can get a new one?

Oh Me, oh my! Oven, we will miss you so much! That lasagna was good! You are taking the high road; you will always win doing so, even if it is feels like you are losing. So, uh, Can I put in an order for some chocolate chip oatmeal cookies? I'll bring over the batter and split the yield with you!

Yikes I'd hate to be without an oven. I like to bake cookies too much!
I'm sorry that's happening. Maybe Andrea's right and with the warmer weather you won't need it as much anyway. And then by the time it gets cooler out you can buy another one.

How much is an oven in American $. I agree that you need one and I'm also certain that there are a few of us that would insist on contributing to the homemade pizza, oatmeal cookie fund.
