Time for a stretch!

Getting our final numbers and trying to finalize our budget and getting ready to move is certainly a stretching time for us. We know that God has brought us this far and He won't forsake us now .. we are only a little anxious to see just how all of this is going to work out!

Don't you just love that feeling of being stretched? Um ... well,

part of me "enjoys" (using that word kinda lightly) being challenged to look deep within to see if my trust and dependence has wavered away from God at all. The other part of me just wants to scream!

I think that's faith though. When you commit to acknowledging God and His ability to see you through everything even when you are "freaking out" on the inside. Right?

I used to think that my emotions and my head had to match to have sincere faith. I have finally realized that God knows that we are freaking out sometimes and it's right to acknowledge it, but also we have to trust and have faith that it's going to be ok. We may have no idea how something is going to happen, but He is able, and saying that is the best thing we can do! As I said before, no Plan B.

It's all about breaking down this clay pot, one more time, and finding the impurities and making it all over again with less imperfection. How many times can this clay be broken and remade?

As many times as we are willing to allow it, I think.

Ok, comments please ... anyone going through a stretching time? Been there already and have a story to share? We would love to hear it!

Renee -

Thanks for your comment, but with our names in it I can't post it. BOO! So if you want to comment again and leave out our names, I will post it - or just know we got it and thanks! Tell Aunt Lynette Happy Mom's Day too!

Ok, anonymous (above), who are you? ;-)

Hi,

I'm praying for God's will and your stretching time to turn out well.

I really thought your picture of the clay pot person was neat.

Hope you had a great day, and Happy Mother's Day to you.

Love you,

Darlene
