Good People!

Yesterday we had such a great experience reuniting with people from when we were Youth Pastors right out of college. It was a great time reconnecting with each one of them! We saw 'kids' that were in our youth group 12 years ago that are now youth leaders themselves and have their own kids. That doesn't seem possible! It's like we just picked up from where we left off and haven't missed a beat.

It really makes you realize how being faithful at each step, each juncture, of this journey will eventually come back around and you will be happy that you gave it your all. It's so great to see people that we dearly love and now they are excited for us on this new journey God has for us.

These are some of the best moments to cherish as we have been itinerating. 'Bumping' into people that have believed in us and thought and prayed for us for so many years is more than a blessing. We can only hope that we return that to others in our lives.

So many times we hear and experience how people in this world can be so cruel and mean, but that's not all there is. There are people that want more for others than themselves, that pour their heart into helping however they can, that prove that love and caring can help heal any situation. It's too bad that these kind of people don't make the news headlines ... I know of a few that should.
