It was surreal to think that we won't be back at this annual council meeting for at least 3 years. We have gone to this every year for at least the past 7 years! We will really miss the fellowship of everyone that we have had the privilege of getting to know as we have traveled across the state this past year and a half.
One amazing thing that happened while we were there was that we are now only $250 away from having our monthly support budget completely met! $250 ... that's it!!!! We are having a little bit of a hard time getting our minds around that and being so close!! We continue to be so humbled by the generosity of so many. This really overwhelms us.
We know that our days are numbered here. We know that very soon we will be able to leave for India and begin to encounter the plan that has been laid before us there. We are ready and we are going!
It's our 15th wedding anniversary soon! What a journey it's been. I could have never guessed that we would be at this place, doing this, having had all these experiences at this point. He is faithful to us!
I am so thankful that He never gives up on us. That when we hit those "speed bumps" in life, He continues to draw us to Him. He continues to make a way when there seems to be no way. How awesome is our God! We can continually reach out to Him and He is always there.
Simply amazing.

Just wanted to wish you a very Happy Annivarsary. I can't believe you have been married 15 years. It seems like yesterday when I knew both of you as little 5 year old children. We will be celebrating our 46th Anniversary this fall. God is so good.
So happy to hear you are so close to your goal for your financial support, and I know you must have mixed emotions about everything. If you didn't, you wouldn't be normal. I know God is giving you the peace that you need. He says he will never leave us or forsake us no matter what if we are keeping our faith in him. He sure does all things well.
